「淡墨（たんぼく）」は、書道で使用される墨の一種で、非常に薄く淡い色合いを持っています。通常の墨と比べて濃さが控えめで、淡い灰色や淡い青みがかった色調が特徴です。
『雪』と書かれた本作品。
最初の一筆に作者の想いを感じます。雪が落ち、溶けていくシーンが頭に浮かんできます。滲みの潤いと、掠れの乾きから自然の摂理、循環さえも感じます。
白を基調とした掛け軸はお部屋にも飾りやすい色合いです。掛け軸は丸めて箱に収納することができるため、季節に合わせて飾ることもできます。

“Tanboku" is a type of ink used in calligraphy, which is very thin and has a light color. It is less dense than regular ink and has a light gray or light bluish tint.
This artwork is called "Yuki" (snow).
We can feel the artist's thoughts in the first strokes. The scene of snow falling and melting comes to mind. The moisture of the blotches and the dryness of the grazes remind us of the order of nature and even of cycles.
